Dana Kalmey is a documentary filmmaker whose roster includes the Sundance award-winning Trapped and E-Team, Well Groomed, (Dis)Honesty: The Truth About Lies, and Backpack Full of Cash (narrated by Matt Damon), amongst others. Her work has screened and broadcast nationally and internationally and can be found on streaming platforms. While directing The Last 90 Minutes, she is also in production on Tandem, about the forgotten sport and tradition of tandem surfing, and producing 7 Beats Per Minute (formerly known as Inspirare; Tribeca All Access 2020, TFI Creators Market 2021) about a professional female freediver. She is an Impact Partners Producing Fellow, a newportFILM Documentary Cinematography Lab Fellow, holds an MFA in Social Documentary Film from SVA, is trained as an architect, and is a former college soccer coach and former architecture teacher and coach with The Green Gecko Project in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

BRITTANY BATTERTON

Brittany Batterton got her start in the documentary world coming on board with Cedar Creek Productions in 2013 to work alongside award-winning filmmaker, Cindy Meehl (Buck). There she worked as field coordinator for Dogs on the Inside and other critically acclaimed films such as Unbranded, Trapped (Sundance 2016) and Rewind (Tribeca 2019). She was the associate producer of For the Birds (2018) which world-premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest (New Talent Award Nominee) and had its American Premiere at AFI Docs. For the Birds has picked up awards in the US and was nominated for the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards for Best First Documentary Feature. Most recently, Brittany was associate producer for The Dog Doc which premiered at Tribeca in 2019, received the Best in Fest award at the Ridgefield International Film Festival, and was acquired by FilmRise in 2020. She strives to work on inspiring and life-changing films.
